3 New Officers in Ocean
Three new Ocean Township police officers were sworn in recently.
The swearing in took place at the Township Council meeting on the evening of Aug. 24.
New Ocean Township Police Officers are (from left) Mark Del Tin, Kevin Redmond II and John Goncalves.
John Goncalves, 22, was previously a Class II Special Officer with the Township of Ocean Police Department and is a graduate of Ocean County College with an Associate of Science in Criminal Justice.
He lives in Brick Township and is currently attending the Monmouth County Police Academy Basic Recruit Class, under the waiver program.
Mark Del Tin, 25, was previously an Officer with the United States Capitol Police, Washington DC. Mark is a graduate of Widener University, Chester Pa, with a Bachelors of Arts in Criminal Justice.
He lives in Rumson and is currently attending the Monmouth County Police Academy Basic Recruit Class.
Kevin Redmond II, age 24, was previously a Patrolman with the Department of Defense Police, Ft. Monmouth, and a part time Dispatcher with Highlands Police Department.
Redmond lives in Atlantic Highlands and is a graduate of Iona College, New Rochelle NY, with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. He attends the Monmouth County Police Academy Basic Recruit Class.
