Ocean Man Arrested For Theft, Burglary
An Ocean Township man was arrested and charged with burglary Oct. 24 after police said they found him in the laundry room at Twinbrook Apartments trying to force open coin boxes.
Police said they responded to a call about a man damaging washers and dryers in the basement of the laundry room at approximately 1 a.m.
After police arrived they found Francis Slater, 28, in the laundry room with tools he was using to try and open coin boxes.
Slater was arrested and charged with burglary and theft. Bail was set at $5,000.
