Eatontown Man Charged With City Kidnapping
An Eatontown man has been arrested in Asbury Park and charged with kidnapping his ex-girlfriend, aggravated assault and possession of a knife.
Capt. Anthony Salerno said Kevin Hudson, 46, was arrested Tuesday at approximately 11 p.m. after police said they responded to a call about a 22-year-old city woman being held at knife point in the 900 block of Mattison Avenue.
When police arrived the suspect fled on foot. Evidence was found at the scene, Salerno said, and the suspect was apprehended a short time later.
Hudson was taken to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
Officers involved in the arrest were Al Williams and Sgt. Marshawn Love. The case was investigated by Det. Terry Williams.
