$25,000 Set Aside For Beach Plan

The Neptune planner has been authorized to create a redevelopment plan for the north end of the Ocean Grove beachfront property.
The township will be able to get reimbursements for the $25,000 planning costs, said Chief Financial Officer Michael Bascom.

Storm Does Damage in Neptune City

Neptune City Mayor Thomas Arnone thanked neighboring Neptune Township for its help after a rain storm Saturday night that left the borough rain-soaked and battered.
Arnone said, “We were hit the hardest in Monmouth County, we had a lot of power outages, serious ones.”

Neptune Creates Harbor Commission to Govern Township Waterways

Neptune officials introduced an ordinance this week which will govern the townships waterways.
A public hearing on the ordinance, which will create the Neptune Harbor Commission, will be held July 10.

Tinton Falls Will Hire Revaluation Firm for $48,000

Tinton Falls will hire Realty Appraisals of West New York for $48,000 to complete a revaluation in the borough.
The money is now in place to get the first revaluation since 1989 under way but residents will still not see the results on their tax bills until 2007.
