A 32-year-old Ocean Township man an a 36-year-old township woman were arrested Aug. 4 on Route 35 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and wandering for drugs. Also arrested was a 58-year-old woman from Ocean Grove who was charged with wandering for drugs.
On Aug. 5 an 18-year-old township man was arrested for criminal mischief and possession of under 50 grams of marijuana on McKinley Drive.
A 21-year-old Red Bank man was arrested for possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on Route 35 Aug. 6. Also arrested was a 19-year-old Red Bank man who was charged with providing false information to police, obstruction of the law and contempt of court.
On Aug. 7 a planter was smashed in a parking lot on Monmouth Road and a planter by the front door of a store on Monmouth Road was burned. Garbage was also thrown on the porch of the business as well as in the bushes.
A purse was stolen from a car on Oakhurst Road while an Oakhurst resident was taking her groceries into her home Aug. 7. The suspect is a tall, thin male with blonde crew cut hair, wearing a dark tee shirt and shorts.
A window was smashed at Seaview Shell on Route 66 and a large amount of cigarettes stolen Aug. 8.
