City School Board Begins Investigation

The Asbury Park Board of Education voted unanimously at its Feb. 15 meeting to start an internal investigation to determine who is responsible for recording incorrect enrollment figures for state school aid.

Bradley Beach Soldier Dies in Afghanistan

The crash of a coalition helicopter in Afghanistan last week claimed the life of a Bradley Beach man.
Chief Warrant Officer John A. Quinlan, 36, was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne), Fort Campbell, Ky.

Neptune City’s Adams Field to Receive $470,000 Upgrade

Neptune City residents will experience a new and improved Adams Field this year, with revitalized playing fields, new playground equipment, additional parking, and better security.
The five- to six-acre field, the largest park in the borough, is located just off W. Sylvania Avenue near the the Woodrow Wilson Elementary School.
