Mold has been found at the Midtown Community School in Neptune, which will delay the opening until fall 2008.

The opening of the Midtown Community School in Neptune will be delayed a year while a portion of the school is torn down and rebuilt because of mold in the new construction.

Condo Application to be Dismissed in Ocean Grove

Two Asbury Park teenagers were arrested Tuesday and charged with aggravated assault in connection with the shooting of another teen in the foot at First Avenue and Main Street in Asbury Park.

Neptune Housing Chair Is Not Re-Appointed

Neptune Housing Authority Board of Commissioners Chair Ermon K. Jones was not re-appointed to his position on the board although several residents spoke on his behalf at this weeks Township Committee meeting.
Nick Williams was appointed in his place to a five-year term.

Bradley Beach Board Adopts Budget with Slight Increase

The Bradley Beach Board of Education adopted its 2007/2008 budget Tuesday night, representing a 0.07 increase costing average taxpayers about $30 per year.
The average home assessment in the borough is $529,000.
