Bradley Beach Official Wants Agendas Online

Following through on her campaign promise to improve communication in the towns government, Julie Schreck, the newest member of the Bradley Beach Council asked that agendas be made available 72 hours before meetings.
She also would like to have it posted on the boroughs website at the same time.

Fund Established for Family of Boy Who Drowned

A fund to benefit the family of Trevon Taylor, 8, of Bradley Beach, who drowned this week at the Newark Avenue Beach, has been established at a local bank.
Donations may be sent to: The Trevon Taylor Fund, c/o Central Jersey Bank NA, 501 Main St, Bradley Beach, NJ 07720.

Reduced Operations Considered at Avon Station

Boy, 8, Drowns in Bradley Beach

An 8-year-old boy drowned in Bradley Beach Tuesday night on the Newark Avenue beach, two beaches away from where a lifeguard tournament had just finished.
Lifeguards competing in the tournament heard yelling and screaming and ran to join in the search for the boy, Trevon Taylor.They also alerted the Bradley Beach police.

The city of Asbury Park is currently looking for homes for 12 animals found during the past several weeks.
According to Police Chief Mark Kinmon, no ownership of any of the animals has been established.
