Bruce Magic in Asbury Park

By ELLEN CARROLL
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band returned to Asbury Parks Convention Hall this week for two sold out performances Monday and Tuesday.
The two, two-hour shows featured old favorites like Born in the USA, Shes the One and Promised Land and new songs including Radio Nowhere and Girls in Their Summer Clothes from his new release, Magic.
The 10-member entourage, which includes his wife, Patti Scialfa, performed on a new, bigger stage, which was finished just in time for the shows.
Springsteen appeared happy to be back in Asbury Park as he welcome the audience to the world famous, air conditioned Convention Hall even as the temperature inside the hall was sultry.
