Ocean to Meet on Ending Backyard Pickup

Ending backyard garbage collection in Ocean Township will be the sole subject at a special Township Council meeting to be held Wed., Sept. 26 at 7 p.m.
The township is planning to switch to high-tech, mechanized garbage trucks that will empty 95-gallon containers at the curbside.
