Friends of Joe Lopez Donate Bench

This memorial bench for Anna Lopez is located near the office on the Ocean Grove boardwalk.
A memorial bench entitled The Wisdom Bench was recently donated in the memory of Anna Lopez who died July 22.
She was the wife of Joe Lopez, the funeral director of Francioni, Taylor and Lopez Funeral Home in Neptune.
The bench was donated by the staff of the business and boardwalk offices of the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association.
An Oct. 6 dedication ceremony was officiated by the Rev. David Cotten, chaplain of Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
Joe Lopez has been a volunteer at the Ocean Grove boardwalk and is a charter member of The Wisdom Bench sitters, winter club of retired military personnel.
The group meets to sit by the sea and chat, according to a letter from the association.
The memorial plaque reads The Wisdom Bench, In loving memory of Anna Lopez, from Joes Friends.
