Deal Property to Undergo Reassessment by October 1

Thursday, February 28th, 2008

By DON STINE
Property owners in Deal will see a property reassessment conducted by Oct. 1 after the Monmouth County Board of Taxation ordered the move last December.
We met with the tax board and it was determined that a reassessment, rather than a full property revaluation, will be conducted, which will save the borough money, said Borough Administrator James Rogers.
Rogers said that under a reassessment there will be less of a need to inspect the interiors of properties as normally done in a property revaluation.

Lawson June, Asbury ParkLawson June, Asbury Park
Its a real shock. Its a shock to baseball and personally. Im a baseball fan.
They probably did it. Pettitte admitted it and Clemens has a good lawyer.
No Hall of Fame for Clemens, because its not for real.
He betrayed the public.
