Neptune City Hosting Mayors Ball May 10
Neptune City Mayor Thomas Arnone is hosting the annual Mayors Ball Sat., May 10 at The Barclay in Belmar.
Proceeds from this years event will benefit the Office of Emergency Management and the Neptune City Board of Recreation.
Cocktails and hors doeuvres will be served at 7 p.m., with dinner and dancing immediately following.
Music by Band of Gold.
Tickets for the event are $75.
Singers Wanted for Festival
Singers, choirs and bands are being sought to perform in the Tri-City Arts Tour in Asbury Park June 7 and 8.
The arts festival will include events in Asbury Park, Long Branch and Red Bank. The gospel music events will be held June 8 from approximately noon to 6 p.m. Only six spots are available.

Brooklyn-based folk rocker Bret Mosley will perform at the Saint, 601 Main St., Asbury Park March 27 as part of the Asbury Rising Concert Series. Doors are at 8 p.m. and show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $7.

Singer and songwriter Joe Jackson will perform at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank Wed., April 9 at 8 p.m. Despite his early image as a dapper new wave rocker in skinny tie and pork pie hat since 1979 he has been an eclectic composer and performer. Tickets range from $25 to $75.
