Open House at Avon School
 Coaster Photo: Over the weekend Avon residents got a chance to inspect the renovations at the Avon Elementary School during an open house there. School Superintendent Helen Payne (above left) is pictured with students Skyler Schoenleber and Cory DeBenedetto and teacher Joan Duckett. The addition provides handicapped accessibility, and includes a new cafeteria, science room and media center. The main office was moved to the former cafeteria and is now near the new main entrance to the school. |
