Meeting a Giant![]() Rebecca (left) and Erin Carroll of Tinton Falls got to meet Sean O’Hara, starting center for the Superbowl XVII Champion New York Giants during a recent trip to giants Stadium. OHara was at a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation fund-raiser. He played college football at Rutgers and is the honorary chairman for the foundation chapter in northern New Jersey. The event raised more than $60,000 to be used to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis, a genetic disease affecting the lungs, digestive system and other internal organs. |
Flower Donation![]() Former midtown Urban Renaissance President Gail Oliver of Neptune accepts $100 worth of flowers donated by Neptune Committeeman Thomas Catley. He gave the flowers to MURC at the recent Annual Beautification Day on West Lake Avenue. The flowers were purchased from the Old Corlies Avenue Preservation Associations flower sale.
