Concert photographer John Cavanaugh will host a S.O.A.P. Meet and Greet to be held at his new Rocktography photo exhibition located at 1000 Ocean Ave. on the Asbury Park boardwalk Aug. 28.
The gathering will take place at the gallery, just steps away from the Sounds of Asbury Park Monument, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. to honor the past and present Sounds of Asbury Park inductees.
This is the opportunity to Meet and Greet S.O.A.P. members who include Vini Lopez and Steel Mill introducing their new album “All Man the Guns for America;

I had a great time signing autographs at the Rocktography event before the “Meet & Greet” cocktail party at the Convention Hall back bar. The S.O.A.P. concert went really well and I can now say the my new double cd release ASBURY PARK THEN & NOW by STORMIN’ NORMAN & FRIENDS is now available from http://www.backstreets.com or for digital downloads at http://www.emusic.com. There are a total of 46 tracks and 8 never heard recordings of 5 members of the E Street Band backing Stormin’ Norman Seldin on lead vocals and piano. Southside Johnny even sings background on one track. I’ll make sure and check on Thursdays for the events and upcoming events.
