Interlaken resident Michele Gannon saw a need she wanted to fill about five months ago and is working now to see that need fulfilled.
Gannon is planning to open a resting place for women with cancer in the Ocean Grove area by June 1.
The idea came to Gannon after she learned of her cousin’s friend who had cancer and young children to take care of.
Her cousin Patrice Schneider is a registered nurse and started a dinner chain for her friend.
