Flap Develops in Neptune Over Rainbow Flags

By DON STINE
A major flap has developed in Neptune over a question submitted to the Shark River Hills Property Owners Association regarding flying gay rainbow flags or fetish flags.

In its April 12 issue, the Asbury Park Press ran a story quoting a question submitted by the association to Mayor Michael Brantley and the Township Committee for an upcoming forum. The forum is an annual event sponsored by the association and questions are normally submitted in advance for review.

The question was one of 23 submitted for a possible response during the April 28 public meeting scheduled for the Shark River Hills firehouse on Brighton Ave. at 7:30 p.m.
