Police Investigate Dog Shot With Pellet Gun in Ocean

A Wanamassa woman, who took her dog to the veterinarian after he ran to her yelping in pain, learned that her pet had been shot with a pellet gun. What she found most upsetting is that it wasn’t the first time.

After x-rays were taken Wendy Purcell of Woodlock Avenue learned Rocco, her four year old Chinese crested, Pomeranian mix, had two others pellets lodged in his body.
