The landmark Sampler Inn in Ocean Grove, best-known for its popular cafeteria-style restaurant, may be demolished if the Neptune Township Committee determines the vacant building is unsafe.
“It’s a shame to see history be lost but we have a great concern in the health and safety of the public,” said Bill Doolittle, the township’s director of code and construction.
