The Bradley Beach Borough Council approved its $7.7 million budget Tuesday night.

The budget features a 2.8 cent increase on the municipal tax rate, but as Mayor Julie Schreck explained, with school taxes decreasing by 2.4 cents the net increase for the average household is four cents per $100 of assessed valuation or $21.28.

Schreck commended council members for their work on the budget and the school district for its decrease in spending.
