Darlene L. Biasi, a fifth grade teacher in the township of Ocean Intermediate School, has been named as the Navesink Lodge, No. 9, F. 2 A.M. Educator of the Year for 2008-2009.
She was scheduled to be honored this week at the Masonic Temple in Red Bank.
For the past several years the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons for the State of New Jersey has conducted an annual search for exceptional teachers who go above and beyond their job descriptions and demonstrate the Masonic Principle of Friendship, Morality and Brotherly Love.
