Asbury Park’s officials plan to prohibit bicycling on the north end of the city boardwalk due to deteriorating conditions there.
Officials said the boardwalk, north of Sixth Avenue, has deteriorated to the point that it is dangerous for cyclists. An amendment to the city’s ordinance governing bicycles on the boardwalk is expected to be introduced next week. (more…)
