Ocean Township served as the temporary headquarters for a state-of-the-art communications drill last week, designed to keep the lines of communication open in emergencies, from a hurricane to a nuclear detonation.
“The key to it all is communications,” said New Jersey National Guard Master Sgt. Frank Cumberland, who helped administer the drill.
