Limiting the operation of special events in Neptune through more stringent permit requirements is an option being explored by the Township Committee.
Committeeman Randy Bishop said two weeks ago that it has come to his attention that a resident is holding a flea market on his private property using a special events permit.
The special event permit allows the holder to have unlimited events from June through October. Garage and yard sales also require a permit but they are limited to two a year and the hours of operation are limited.
