Asbury Park has agreed to sell a small piece of Overlook Park, also known as Kennedy Park on Cookman Avenue, to the owner of the adjoining property for $200,000 in an effort to make that property more developable, city officials said last week.
The strip, a 25 by 100 foot piece of land, is currently a gravel portion of the parking lot that sits next to the park and is owned by Lake Group AP LLC. City officials had believed it was not a section of the park. (more…)
