Petition Falls Short Of Signatures In Village

Not enough signatures were gathered on a petition recently presented to Loch Arbour requesting the village change its form of government from a Board of Trustees to a three-member commission form.

Resident Robert Fernicola, who submitted the petition, said he will begin a new petition drive to get the proper number of signatures needed to place the issue before voters.

“There were not enough signatures on the petition to move it forward at this time,” said Village Clerk Lorraine Carafa.
