The Asbury Park Fire Department swore in a dozen new firefighters on Fri., Sept. 11 in what has been described as the largest induction class in over 80 years.
Firefighters and family members packed the council chambers for the ceremony, which was originally planned for Fireman’s Park but was moved indoors due to inclement weather.
