A Neptune City woman, found dead in her apartment at the Brighton Arms complex on West Sylvania Avenue Monday morning, is now the focus of a murder investigation.
According to Michael Cunningham of the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Jonelle E. Melton, 33, was discovered after police and first aid responded to a 911 call.
The call, said Cunningham, came in at 9:07 a.m. Monday morning.
A cause of death has not been released pending an autopsy.
