They could easily be called the ugly duckling of footwear, but for people who like to be good to their feet, they are the only way to go.
They are Crocs and they come in all colors in all shapes and sizes, and they are becoming the shoes of choice for many people whose professions keep them on their feet for long hours.
Health care workers in particular have made them part of their daily work uniform.
