Parades, Parties Planned For This Spooky Season

Mattison Park restaurant and martini lounge in the landmark Meistrich building in Asbury Park and Paranormal Books, Cookman Avenue are hosting the first ever Halloween block party Oct. 31.

The party includes a costume contest with cash and prizes totaling more than $5,000.
Dust off those wigs and over-the-top costumes; it’s time to celebrate, says coordinator Aaron Coleman. Gates open at 6 p.m. and the main stage show begins at 7 p.m.

City Merchants to Celebrate Rocktober on First Saturday
