Are you going to get the flu shot?

We’re not getting the flu shot. Keeping healthy is our outlook.

Wash your hands, eat vegetables and fruit – take your vitamins and exercise and you’ll be alright.

Audrey got a flu shot 3 years ago, her first, and she felt horrible.

She got ridiculously sick.

What are you looking forward to at school this year?

Kiani: School is cool. I’m going into the second grade.

I like social studies the best.

Daveon: The best part of school is when the teachers teach the kids what school is really about.

Eventually when teachers ask you a question, you know it because they taught you it.

I’m in the 5th grade at the Intermediate school.

Charlie: How are they going to bail themselves out when they go to jail?

Paul: Given all the known revenues that the state gets; all the taxes, the lottery, more taxes – why is this state in debt?

I want to see the numbers. It just doesn’t make sense to me that this state is in the red.

And we need so much done with our infrastructure, bridges, roads, tunnels, why can’t we create more jobs in those sectors.

What do you think of the Healthcare system?

I think that healthcare needs some reform, but don’t like the package that’s being proposed.

I don’t like the fact that our congressman and senators will not accept the healthcare plan they propose to us for themselves for their own personal use.

The Asbury beach. It’s vastly improved. It’s packed these days. We like Sunset landing for Sunday breakfast.

We love to shop and eat on Cookman. The Twisted Tree And Plan B. The new gelato place is good, by the Brickwall.

The Stone Pony is great. Asbury is coming back big time.

Pete & Elda’s is the best – and Asbury Lanes.

The debt is getting higher. The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer.
