Will Neptune High School be among the schools being affected by the dress code? If so, I think it will be great , its so hard for many families to keep up with how expensive the new styles are these days. Its a bit ridiculous if you ask me, the stress it causes Not to boot the pressure on the children to look so up to par in name brand clothing. I think schools should be focused not on what someone is wearing but focused on EDUCATION. I think the uniform deal will cut down on a lot of unnecessary drama.

Hi Julie,
Is there a way of selling reduced, preseason beach badges ONLY to residents? That hasn’t been the case in previous years. The early, discounted season badges were on sale for anyone and everyone to buy.
Maybe we should start asking for proof that people actually live in town, so when the articles say resident, they mean people who live and pay taxes in BB?

Township Attorney Gene Anthony would do well to cite State law or regulation when he claims an exception can not be made for Ocean Grove, a documented historic district.

Obviously, the township does treat the district in a distinct manner when it imposes strict preservation requirements and oversight.

Here again, he “promulgates” his opinions without documentation. This has not been the first time either. Recently he advised township committee officials not to discuss actions they have already officially (we presume) taken with representatives of the Ocean Grove Homeowners Association.

Citing case law itself would be helpful if he were fulfilling his professional responsibilities.

Thanks for the coverage of our local issues. Just to make it clear: the discount pre-season beach badges have been available to anyone who wishes to purchase them, not just for residents.

It sounds to me like the family needs to get the story straight for one thing. You say Mike is there and then he is not, then he’s someone’s fiance and then she never dated him. Also, there never was a family fund because according to the family he wasn’t there so why would he set up donations for family that can’t stand him, pretty ironic huh?
Some people need to get a life and find better ways to spend their time. Take up video games for god sakes.
