The Neptune Recreation Department is hosting a new greeting card campaign designed to bring a little cheer to frontline workers. Families in Neptune Township are encouraged to create homemade cards to help lift the spirits of nurses, doctors, EMT workers, policemen, firefighters and other first responders as they work through the Covid-19 pandemic.
Parents are asked to place the cards in the box at the entrance door to the Neptune Township Municipal Building located at 25 Neptune Blvd. (no envelopes needed). The Recreation Department will then deliver the cards to the hospital and/or first responders.
This can be a fun and educational project for the many kids hunkering down at home, and each gesture, however small, may help lift the spirits of those working in Neptune during a very stressful time. For more information, please contact the Neptune Recreation Department at 732-869-120
