A 22-year-old male was stabbed in Neptune Sun., Dec. 2 but was treated and released from the hospital the same day.

Police said the victim was uncooperative during the investigation and that there were no witnesses to the stabbing.

“The was treated and released from the Jersey Shore University Medical Center on the same day and there is no further ongoing investigation,” Capt. Michael McGhee said.

He said the incident occurred in the 1200 block of Heck Avenue around 3 p.m. The victim was stabbed in his upper body.
