This year’s Garden State Film Festival in Asbury Park, in its 18th year, is featuring a film about an Ocean Grove resident while also featuring an Asbury Park resident.
The film, “Here’s the Story: I Talk to Strangers,” is directed by Steve Rogers, of Red Bank.
It is about Ocean Grove resident Bob Ellis, who makes a habit out of talking to strangers as he strolls local boardwalks, and also features Asbury Park resident Jenn Hampton, part owner and curator of The Parlor Gallery on Cookman Avenue in Asbury Park.
It will be shown March 29 at 11:45 a.m. at the Paramount Theatre on the Asbury Park boardwalk.
