Max Zeevi, Deal – Her name’s Victoria.
Robert Barker, Asbury Park – Warm clothes. A mink coat, mink hat. Stay out of the wind. The wind is the worst part. I have kittens they keep me warm. They’re always under me.
Matt Basilotto, Russo Music -Whiskey and layers. Sweaters, sweatshirts, jackets and Jack Daniels. It works.
Linda Bloechl, Neptune -I did the polar plunge on Saturday, for the second time. I can tell you that the most important thing to take care of if you feel you are going to do a polar plunge. Wear watershoes and be prepared to dry off quickly.
Colby Bonsangue, Monmouth Beach – I wear my Uggs inside and out to keep the heat in. I dress in many layers. I stay inside a lot.
Alison Bowie, Ocean – I stay close to warm loving people. I have a lot of friends. I’m blessed. That keeps me warm.
Susan Cannata, Ocean Grove – I stay in the house, mostly. When they plowed my street, they plowed me in. We’re the last street to get plowed and then we get plowed in. It’s annoying, with the taxes we’re paying and we don’t get the service.
Ryan Curran, Asbury Park – I workout at Killer Bee Combat Sports in Oakhurst. I eat at the local restaurants like Sunset Landing, Brickwall and the Bamboo Leaf. I stay local. I live in the Mirmar Building. I love it. Good heat. High efficiency. Great place.
Lynn Leopardi, Winks, Belmar – I cuddle up in the front of the fireplace with my 90 pound pitbull. I love her. She’s like a little mushball. She looks fierce, but she’s a love bug. The best dog ever. Her name is Bella.
Robert Martignetti, Belmar – I’m a contractor, so I’m scheduling all my work indoors. When I’m not working I’ll ride out the cold weather in Del Ray Beach, Fl.
Ali Martin & John Hutchinson, Belmar – We walk the dogs very quickly. We’re the co-chairs of Belmar Arts. This Sunday we hosted Bloody Mary Sunday fundraiser to beat the blues and the winter blahs.
Latasha McCall, Salvation Army – Lots of layers. I have a nice warm jacket, a hat and gloves. You have to dress right for this weather. Come to the Salvation Army on Main if you need something.
Sammy & Lindsay Pantaleo, Neptune – We stay in bed and snuggle with Stella, our dog. We turn the heat up a little bit, too. An extra blanket; socks and slippers. Another log on the fire. We stay home as much as we can
Terry Prescott, Second Life Bikes – Peddle faster. That will keep you warm. Work harder. Keep the wind at your back, if you can.
Ted Scheffler, Asbury Park – I sit in my bedroom in front of a window where the sun shines in. I grade or read books in the sunlight. If the sun isn’t shining, I sit by the fireplace. Asbury is a great place to live.
Kelly Trevino, Luigi’s – Stand next to the pizza oven, as much as possible here. Hopefully we’re busy. Come get pizza and keep me warm.
