The annual Taste of Bradley is scheduled for Sat., June 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
In addition to tastings and samples at participating restaurants and shops, the lineup includes fitness demonstrations and entertainment in Riley Park on Main Street between LaReine and Brinley avenues.
The Bradley Beach Tourism Commission is selling wristbands for $20 each at participating businesses and online at eventbrite.com. On the day of the event, wristbands will be sold at Riley Park for $25 each.
Jersey Shore Fitness Shop will conduct yoga and zumba demonstrations in Riley Park from 11:30 am to 1 p.m. Musician Joshua Mark will entertain from 1 to 3 p.m.
Red balloons will indicate participating businesses along with signs detailing the special feature at each establishment.
Participating businesses include Aires de Colombia, Ann Bags Boutique, Back in Time Cafe, Bradley Liquors, D’Arcy’s, El Mexicano, Fins, Giamano’s, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, Green Beans Consignment, Intentional B, Nourished by Nature, Panchos and Juanchos, Paws and Anchor, Sapphire Holistic Center, Shore Deli & Grill, Tuscany by the Sea, Uva, Via Mare and Vic’s.
Sun., June 12 is the rain date for Taste of Bradley.
The following Saturday, June 18, the tourism commission will present School’s Out for Summer, a free event for all ages in Bradley Park from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by Play Date featuring Greg Attonito of the Bouncing Souls and Shanti Wintergate, as well as the Jr. Pros Band, a group of 9- and 10-year-old performers from Lakehouse Music Academy in Asbury Park.
Certified wildlife professional and children’s author Melissa Rutigliano will bring her special dog Memphis to conduct an educational presentation.
The rain date for School’s Out for Summer is Sun., June 19 at 2 p.m.
On Saturdays in July and August, weather permitting, the Summer Saturdays in the Park series from 5 to 9 p.m. will feature a public market and live musical performances from 7 to 9.
The Hot Taters will play Dixieland, swing and hot jazz on July 2. Tom Petty tribute band Damn the Torpedoes performs on July 9. A complete schedule is available at the borough’s web site, bradleybeachnj.gov.
