NEPTUNE CITY – Three Neptune City police officers were promoted this week at the Borough Council meeting.

The three were Matthew Quagliato, Bradley Hindes and Michael Kepler.

Quagliato was promoted to lieutenant on the force. Hindes and Kepler were promoted to sergeant.

Kepler’s nephew, Sean Robert Kepler, said he was proud of his uncle.

“It’s exciting to see and I want to become a policeman someday when I grow up,” he said.

Kepler’s wife, Rosanna was just as proud of her husband and was on hand with their daughters Mia and Micayla. She said “My husband had worked very hard for this and we are all very proud of him.”

Hindes’ wife, Kimberly Misner Hindes, was on hand with family and friends.

“I am excited for my husband and he has worked very hard for this,” she said. “We are all glad that this day finally came.”

Mayor Bob Brown said, ” We are lucky to have such dedicated officers on our force and we all thank them for all of their hard work.”
