The Question is…

August 12, 2021
Al Ziegler, Wanamassa – I think they should lock his father up. He’s not showing his child any discipline. He’s out blocking off the street so his son can drag race? The kid is headed for nothing but trouble because he’s not getting any family discipline.
Bob Denes, Ocean – Where’s his mom and dad. Have they given up on supervision? I’m concerned about a young guy like that getting all the attention and adulation and not having any parental guidance.
Donna Hayes, Neptune – He’s young, I was a little nutty around that age myself. Plus kids are exposed to a lot more now-a-days. They can get in a lot more trouble, particularly if they are rich. They have access to a lot more. Go to rehab and get involved in more positive things. Help out in the community. Use your money to help out those less fortunate. In other words, good clean fun, before he self destructs.
Steven Stathakis, Jersey City & Gary Nymowitz, Wanamassa – We’re not surprised. He’s a child that needs to grow up. It’s only been getting worse instead of better. He already lives in a big house with gates, he maybe headed for a bigger house with bigger gates.
Fran O’Neill, Spring Lake Heights – I think he’s totally out of control. He needs to go to rehab before it’s too late. I don’t listen to his music but he’s just out there and you can’t help but know what going on.
Andres Patino, Neptune City – He’s living his life and getting away with everything. He’s going down the same road as Amanda Bynes. They can’t handle the fame. That’s what it is.
D.J. Perez, Cash It In – He’s another child star. He gets a taste of the money and it kind of ruins him. Money ruins people. My advise to him would be, quit being a punk. Grow-up.
Mike Pocci, Neptune – I think he’s overrated. And people like that think they are above the law because they are celebrities and they have money. If it were me, I’d still be in jail. After he ends up in rehab, I hope he straightens himself out.
Deshawn Sanders, Asbury Park – I think he’s a young kid whose being foolish and he needs to grow up. We all make foolish mistakes. He’s young, he has money, and he needs to grow up. That’s all. If he didn’t have money or fame it wouldn’t be a big deal.
Dave Scelfo & Michelle Parrs, W. Allenhurst – We try not to think about him. He’s out of control. It’s one of those things where he doesn’t have the fear of his dad kicking his ass. He’s out partying with him. Parental fear is worse than fear of the police. Everybody at that age makes mistakes. You need parental guidance at that age.
Sherri Vaccaro & Hilda McCarthy, Carmela’s – Sheri: I think that he’s young. He has a lot of power at a young age, but, mentally and emotionally, he doesn’t know how to handle it. Hilda: He’s guilty by affluenza, which is too much money at too young of an age. They think they can do anything they can pay for. Guilty by affluenza. It’s a new word. I love it.
Barry Warren, Ocean – I like what Mark Wahlberg said: “Straighten your hat, pull up your pants and listen to your mother, you little bastard.” That sums it up.
Rev. Tassie York, Neptune – I’ll tell you what I think, I think Justin Bieber needs Jesus like a lot of celebrities. Many have lost their way and need some guidance, definitely. Their flesh isn’t helping them, so they need to get in touch with their spirit.
