The Neptune City Library will celebrate the beginning of its 90th year of service with an open house Tues.,June 3.
The event runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the library on the east side of the Municipal Complex, 106 W. Sylvania Ave.
Musical entertainment will be provided by Joe Riccardello, compliments of the Monmouth County Library System, of which the borough library is part of. There will be giveaways, snacks and a drawing for a $90 gift card. Only those with library cards can enter the drawing.
Library membership is open to Neptune City residents, property owners, employees and teachers.
At the open house, children may sign up for the summer reading program, held Thursdays 3:15 p.m. to 4 p.m. Children who cannot attend the program can do the readings on their own.
