Big Lots will open its newest store at 9 a.m. on Aug. 22 at Seaview Square on Route 66 in Ocean Township.
As the nation’s largest broadline closeout retailer, Big Lots is best known for bringing customers a one-of-a-kind shopping experience.
Big Lots offers new merchandise every week that typically sells for 20 to 40 percent less than discount stores and up to 70 percent below traditional retailers. “When shoppers visit this new store they will find name brands, quality products and low prices,” said Andrew Stein, Big Lots Senior Vice President and Chief Customer Officer. “Combine that with a team of associates that are dedicated to exceptional customer service and Ocean shoppers will find visiting their new Big Lots is always worth the trip.”
As part of the grand opening celebration, Big Lots will make a $1,500 donation to Wanamassa Elementary School during its ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9 a.m.
“We are proud to be able to make this donation to Wanamassa Elementary School to further the education of their students and reaffirm our commitment to the surrounding Ocean community,” Stein said.
The new Ocean store will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
