Charlie Gurrera, the manager of Georgie’s Tavern on Fifth Avenue in Asbury Park, died in his apartment Tues., Aug. 19. Gurrera lived in an apartment above the tavern where he worked for many years. An autopsy will be performed. The cause of death is pending the results. The death is not being treated as a homicide.
