Four veteran Asbury Park firefighters were promoted during a special ceremony at City Hall last Friday.
Captains Richard A. Dreyer II and Gavino Siciliano were each promoted to the rank of Battalion Chief and Firefighters Michael Mautner and Robert A. Pasquariello were each promoted to the rank of Captain.
Fire Chief Kevin Keddy said that the four positions have been vacant since the first of the year and that each officer deserves their promotion.
“They worked hard and their promotions are well-deserved. I am sure they will all do a great job,” he said.
