The Asbury Park Police Department is accepting applications for special officers.
Applicants must be a United States citizens, at least 18-years-old, have a high school diploma or its equivalency, a New Jersey’s driver’s license and be able to endure vigorous physical and academic training. Preference is given to city residents.
The deadline to pick up applications is Friday, Oct. 31.
