Michele Ternet, Interlaken - It wasn’t an eventful year, personally. Which could be a good thing. Worldwide it was eventful. We lost a lot of icons. We had Ebola, political unrest, etc. I continue to live in the moment.

Pat Betty, Interlaken - I reopened Tranquil Garden Tea Room in Bradley Beach, next to the train station. I got wiped out via Sandy and now I’m back on my feet and raring to go. Stop by.

Robbin Hickey & Debbie Anderson, Sea Girt - Debbie: My daughter is a professor at Alburn University and I had the opportunity to attend a home football game. They won. It was a very nice experience, just being there and feeling the college spirit. Robbin: Reconnecting with my high school sweetheart after 30 years. He’s friends with my brother. We met by accident.

Barbara Johmann, Beachwood - I went to Brannburg, Germany for cancer treatments. I had 3 weeks of treatments. I was treated with hyphthermia and magnetic field to destroy the cancer. I got I.V. drips of oxygen and Vitamin C. To boost your immune system, they give you thymus peptide injections and mistletoe. Thymus and mistletoe boost your immune system. Suzanne Somers went there and still goes. She’s doing great. Ronald Regan, Cher, George Hamilton and Jennifer Lopez’s aunt all went there. I can’t wait to go back. Here, they kill you. Do research on it. Google the clinic - it’s Marinus am Stein. Dr Weber. Look it up. it’s amazing.

Lawrence Major, Asbury Park - I have to say when I came to see the lights at Johnny Mac’s. It’s the center of attention when people get off the train. It separates this town from the other towns. Also, I got married and pledged my undying love to my wife, Catie. It’s all good.

Eva & Nick Margarite, Wall - We bought our first house, so that would be it. Eva and I have been married 3 1/2 years and we finally bought a house.

Richard A. Polhemus, Belmar - What really hurt was the flight they couldn’t find. Now hopefully they’ll find all the people on this one. For me, these were the two most memorable events of 2014.

Bill Prihel, Ocean - I guess it would be the ebola scare. There was so much ado about it. For me, I went to Ireland for a vacation during the summer. It was nice, very green. A lot of pubs. Nice memory.

Michelle Scelfo, W. Allenhurst - I would say the whole Ferguson thing. I feel it sparked a whole nationwide conversation about race, police and violence. I think New York was worse. It was a sad situation all around for everybody.
