Two women from Pleasantville were allegedly confronted by three masked men a few minutes before 9 p.m. who demanded money from the victims. The only reported proceeds were the keys to the victims’ vehicle.

Police said the three unidentified men ran off with the keys. It was reported there was a gunshot fired at that time. However, there was no confirmation or evidence of a gunshot being fired. Neither victim was injured in the incident.

Neptune Police are continuing investigation into the incident which may have been facilitated through social media.
