Marcus Womock, Ocean - I think they should just leave it alone. It makes people late for work. It’s very confusing and it’s a pain to turn the clocks back and forth. It messes with our sleep schedule, too.

Fred Battlett, Asbury Park - By God no! I absolutely don’t like the changing of the clocks back and forth. Useless. In the old days it made sense, but now we don’t need it. Not in Asbury Park.

Matthew Beegle, Neptune - That’s a tough question. I guess we may as well keep it, why not? I hate it when I wake up in the dark, but I like the extra sunlight after work It’s 6 in one hand, a half dozen in the other.

Lou & Bobbie Celmer, Oakhurst - We say leave them alone. Stick to standard time. It’s way too dark when we go to work. Just keep it simple, stupid. Keep it standard.

Harriet Cook, Ocean - Scientifically, I can’t tell you why we do it, but, I think people do feel better having that extra hour of light at the end of the day. So, I say, leave it the way it is now.

Carol Ferrante, Ocean - Honestly, I think we should just leave it alone. Truthfully, I don’t like the change. That’s what it all boils down to for me.

Kathryn Juric, w/Sophia, Long Branch - I think we should not change the clocks, just keep it on standard time. We need to simplify life. Sophia feels the change because she has to get up at a different time.

Christine Kaminski, Oakhurst - I like it the way it is. I like having the daylight for an extra hour in the day. So, I say, leave it the way it is now.

Lisa Kelly, Ocean - Leave it alone. For one thing it’s pain changing the clock in my car. That’s my main reason.

Jonathan & Stacy Tea, Shark River Hills - Stacy: I have mixed feelings. There is something about coming out if winter. Setting the clock ahead is a signal that spring is coming. On the other hand, I don’t know why we’re messing with the universe. There’s no reason. Jonathan: I don’t see the point. It doesn't save anything. In the winter, the days are shorter. Moving the clock doesn’t change the fact that the days are short.

Arnold Teixeria, Starving Artist - I really think it’s a literal waste of time. For all the manual adjustments and schedule changes - it doesn't make sense anymore. It also effects my mood. The readjustment. For whatever reason they did it long ago, it doesn't apply anymore.

Amie Williams, Asbury Park - I think they should leave them just the way they are supposed to be. Don’t change them back and forth. The farmer’s don’t need it anymore. Everything is electric, even the cows are milked by electricity.
