The Asbury Park Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual Carousel Awards Dinner May 8 at the Berkeley Hotel on the oceanfront in Asbury Park.
This year’s awards are Economic Development goes to Lakehouse Music Academy; the Landmark Business Award goes to Rich’s Auto Body; the Spirit of Asbury Park Award goes to Kay Harris Asbury Galleria; the Public Official Award to Barbara Lesinski and the Humanitarian Award to Pastor Derinzer Johnson and Lt. George Corbin of Asbury Park Can.
The event will feature a cocktail hour, dinnerand dancing along with a silent auction. Music will be by So Watt and dinner by Falco’s Catering.
Tickets are $135 each. There is complimentary valet parking.
Co-chairing the event are Jackie Pappas, chamber director and Assemblywoman Mary Pat Angelini.
