Alison Nelson’s Chocolate Bar, New York’s award-winning candy store for grown ups, will open its largest U.S store to date in 2016 in Asbury Park in the former Chicos House of Jazz located at 631 Lake Ave. Since the opening of its first store in New York City in 2002, Alison Nelson’s Chocolate bar has built a network of more than 15 restaurants across 4 markets. The Asbury Park location will include a large-scale cafe with a sales floor of nearly 2,180 square feet. Designed as a Flagship showcase for the Chocolate Bar brand, the venue will be crafted with a vintage modern feel including a theatrical view of chocolate creation within the bar area.
Guests will be offered a full service menu including its iconic graffiti wrapped chocolate bars, award-winning baked goods, killer truffles, kickin’ espresso, signature cakes, banging bon bon’s, an old school soda fountain, and a large range of hot and cold beverages offered early in the morning until late into the night.
